Dental Question ? [ Gingivitis ]?
I was just at the dentist getting a cleaning ( with Fluoride ).
He showed me where i have some bleeding gums, where i have some Gingivitis .
He told me it was Gingivitis and if i angled my electric toothbrush more onto my gum, it would go away.
My Question(s) are :
- Is my Gingivitis mild or severe ?
- If I do what the dentist tells me ( of course i will ) how long will it take for it to do away ?
- Is Gingivitis common among teenagers ? ( I'm 14 [: )
AND
- Is there anything else i can do to help my gums out ? ( Maybe some mouthwash, etc )
I brush twice a day, and floss, and Yes, i have an Oral-B Triumph Electric toothbrush .
~ I just remembered that my Dentist said that the gingivitis is right where the tooth meets the gum and not higher ...
In your case, it's mild.
A couple of weeks probably- be patient and the time will go by faster though haha.
Yeah- I'm guessing it's common.
Brush, brush, brush, floss, floss, floss, keep that toothbrush in working order.
Keep it up and it'll be gone in no time!!
