Does plaque on your teeth have anything to do with plaque in your arteries?
i go to the dentist every 3 months to get my teeth cleaned b/c i have plaque build up so bad. (even though i brush my teeth at least 5x a day) i'm just wondering if that could potentially mean something else could be wrong and what test would i need to have done to find out? Are the plaques the same thing only in different places?
Check out this article... it looks as though certain bacteria can be involved in both arterial & cardiovascular plaque. Interesting! I'm curious what your dentist and general practitioner have said about this...
