Sores developed after Laser Treatment?
So last week, I had a gum therapy treatment, my 4th one in a row. They used the laser for some of the teeth in the back, but unlike the first time, the teeth still hurt. Also, I have developed a very strange looking sore on the roof of my mouth, it looks somewhat like a cold sore, but the center looks black. It might be from the lasers or it might be where they injected me with the anesthesia. What is it? should I be concerned?
Yes sometimes you develop sores like that.
Hold ice-cold water in your mouth without rinsing....just swish it out.
Take Advil as needed with food.
Avoid spicy, hot and hard food.
