new sonicare toothbrush?
i just bought the sonicare essence 5500. so im not quite sure exactly how to use it.. i read now to brush to hard,
also i have braces..
so when it explains start off at 45 degrees from the gum line then roll.. does this clean your whole tooth or just the top? can anyone clear this up for me? also when im brushing by the end it feels like theres no toothpaste left on the brush .. is this normal? also, 2 minutes is just not enough.. i most times go over 4 minutes.. anyone else?
You still have to brush the occlusal side of your teeth and lingual side....aka biting surface and back. Every time the toothbrush beeps you're supposed to move onto the next area. You should be able to get your whole mouth in that 2 minutes.
Plus you should only be grasping the brush with your finger tips...anything more than that can cause you to brush too hard.
