Family planning in mississippi, but need dental work.?
I'm already on family planning and i just had my baby 4 months ago. I was wonder if i had too reapply for medicaid to get coverage for dental work. I have all four of my wisdom teeth coming at the same time and its really starting to hurt. Need immediate help!
i know the family planning doesnt cover it but i was sure if i need to reapply. plus i dont have a case worker
Sorry, but I'm not sure they give you benefits for adult dental work. I do know my city has lots of facilities to give children dental work and it may be just that the dentists that do adult work under this program do not have specific offices; they just do the work inside their regular offices. I'd call your caseworker and ask. It sure sounds like you need to have them out. In the meantime, try ibuprofen and cold packs for pain relief.
