My gums have been bleeding and inflamed ever since I started using my Electric toothbrush?
I used to have a horrible scent on my back molars after flossing, like halitosis plaque around the molars. I have been using the Oral-B professional care Triumph electric toothbrush for 3 weeks and now the stinky plaque around my molars has vanished, but in its place the gums around my molars are sore, bleed when I brush them and are very inflamed.
What should I do?
If they are your very back teeth ie. 3rd molars, there might be a chance of infection. Wisdom teeth are very difficult to clean because of their location. You cannot brush the backside of them. Let your gums heal awhile, then start back with the elect. brush. If they still act up, you could have peritonitis. Switch to baking soda or sensodyne.
