Is it considered odd behaviour to shut your eyes whilst getting a filling at the dentist ?
I'm getting a filling at the dentist in about half an hour. But I really don't want to just lie there with my eyes open, cause then I can see all the creepy dentist tools and everything ...
Would it be weird for the dentist if I shut my eyes (so i can pretend I'm somewhere else) ? I don't want them to be like " Why is she shutting her eyes.. thats weird.. "

No, of course not. I do that all of the time - the water sprays in my eyes, I dislike the high-pitched sounds of the tools. I assure you, they won't even think anything of it.
